A SHOCKING video (below) shows the moment Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran was shot by a cop as Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol. She was shot in the chest.

Babbitt, 35, was among the Trump supporters who stormed Capitol Hill on Wednesday, 6th January 2021, to demonstrate against the certification of President-elect Joe Biden by Congress. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but couldn't be saved.

Babbitt served a total of 12 years in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard as a security forces controller and had the enlisted rank of senior airman. Security force controllers are responsible for providing security at Air Force bases, according to military records.

She served in the active duty Air Force from 2004 to 2008, in the reserves from 2008 to 2010 and the National Guard from 2010 to 2016. She deployed to Afghanistan in 2005, Iraq in 2006 and the United Arab Emirates in 2012 and 2014.

Video shows Babbitt trying to climb through a window, beside a door frame, then, being shot and collapsing to the ground.
A graphic clip shared on social media showed her, bleeding out from the neck after she was shot.

Following Babbitt's death, her mother-in-law, Robin, told The New York Post: “I’m numb. I’m devastated."
"Nobody from DC notified my son and we found out on TV."

What happened at the Capitol?

Trump supporters breached security perimeters and entered the US Capitol on January 6 as Congress was meeting, expected to vote and affirm Biden’s presidential win.

Before this the President had riled up his fans by claiming widespread voter fraud to explain his loss.

Hundreds of his supporters stormed inside the Capitol building and thousands were seen outside.

Senators began to evacuate the building as cops said tear gas was deployed in the rotunda.
